Summary
Lucky goes back upstairs and decides not to tell her grandmother about the key, the tunnel, or the spoon. She spends the day cleaning and has dinner with Stella. Lucky goes to bed and examines the spoon further, realizing the figure is meant to be a witch. Lucky dreams of a memory from when she was a little girl. Her mother arrives home in the middle of the night with her eye covered by a bandanna, explaining to her shocked daughter that she was in a fight with a man. Arnya suggests they play pirates. They play, looking for ‘treasure’ around the apartment and Arnya tells Lucky to get her jewelery box.
