Summary

In Chapter 21, “He’s Lying on the Ground,” Sune tells Zackell he heard about Bobo showing her his genitals. Zackell dismisses Sune’s concern, because she does not care what anyone thinks about her. Before Sune leaves, Zackell asks him why Benji never showed up for practice. In his cabin, the teacher regrets telling Benji their affair was a mistake. Amat goes to visit the Ovich’s to see why Benji did not come to practice. Benji’s sister Gaby asks her kids if they have seen him. They tell her no, but that Benji left them presents. Before Benji’s father committed suicide he left presents for his children. Gaby takes Benji’s gifts as a sign and tells Adri. Because Adri was the one who found their father in the woods, she frantically runs to the forest in search of Benji...
