Summary
Chapter Four starts as Logan wakes up in a glass octagon with few amenities. A calm but scared Edwin explains that Logan is undergoing a significant genetic mutation. Edwin goes through a massive amount of genes responsible for things such as enhanced learning, memory, and decreased anxiety. Logan assumed his LRP5 gene (bone density) had been altered, and Edwin lists even more genetic codes. In the end, Edwin says Logan has thousands of genetic changes and seems to be turning super-human. Logan says that is impossible and is angry to learn he is being accused of self-editing. He points out that he never would have asked the doctor's help if he could just do it himself. Edwin leaves as Logan realizes that someone is trying to hijack evolution.
Two hours later, Edwin returns with guards and a woman named Hana Jalal who...
