The Antique Shop

Hannah Steinberg, a teacher at the school where the Unwinds had been hiding, tells them to see Sonia at an antique shop on Fleming Street in a small town where Connor, Risa and Lev find themselves after eluding the Juvey-police. The antique shop is in an older part of town on a tree-lined street. The streets in the area are strewn with hundreds of leaves but the residents want to keep the trees because they form a shady canopy over the street.

The antique shop appears to be an antique itself. The white paint is peeling off the front door. A bell rings announcing their presence when Connor pushes open the door. While the kids wait for Sonia, they look around at the displays. There are antiques and gadgets from their grandparents’ eras including iPods and a plasma TV.
