Summary
In the dark, a 19-year-old mother leaves her baby on the porch of a house. She doesn’t ring the bell and runs. She might be caught. The Storking initiative requires a mother caught leaving a baby to keep it. If the people in the house open the door and find the baby the law says it’s their baby whether they want it or not.
A few streets away, Risa knocks on a door and tells the woman who answers the door that she’s collecting clothes and food for her school. The woman gives her a bag full of clothes and canned food. Back in the woods, the boys change into some of clothes. Connor tells Lev that they’re AWOLs. Lev reminds him that kicked-AWOL makes them federal criminals.
Risa fears that the cops may not want to harvest...
