Relatable Examples and Illustrations
Harari includes a variety of examples and illustrations that are relatable to children to make his history book engaging as well as informative. Illustrations by Ricard Zaplana Ruiz add visual interest and another level of understanding to the text. Harari uses examples of figs and chocolate cakes to explain how the desire to eat sweet things is outdated though it was necessary for our ancestors' survival.
