Summary

Chapter 31 - It’s hours later, and Kennedy gathers enough courage to go and talk with Priest in the Mech room. Kennedy watches Priest work on random projects and Priest finally asks how long Kennedy knew about Jared's past. Kennedy reveals that she knew since Hearts of Mercy and Priest wants to know why she kept this news to herself. Kennedy tells him that it was Jared’s truth to tell and that he was going to tell them eventually. Priest still isn’t feeling ready to forgive Kennedy seeing as his grandfather was the closest person to him, and that Kennedy doesn’t understand what it’s like to be homeschooled and have the one person closest to him ripped away.
