Summary

Chapter 9 - The closet door behind Faith slams shut on its own as the house begins to shake. Faith’s dog, Bear, starts snarling from the stairs as Faith checks her salt lines, realizing that they aren’t broken. Alara and Lukas bound up the stairs checking the salt lines on the second floor but none of those are broken either. Faith pulls up an automatic assault rifle she’s hidden in the floor as fire sprinklers go off, raining salt water down on the house. Red streaks that look like blood start rolling down the walls and Alara tells everyone that it’s a residual haunting. Faith demands to know who brought a vengeance spirit into her house.
