Chapter 12 Summary

Aimee finds her way back to the Sanctuary. She really doesn't want to be there, but she knows she must return. She is the only daughter to Aubert and Nicolette and knows they would hunt her down if she didn't return. She heads for her room and is confronted by Nicolette. Aimee is tired and does not want a confrontation with her mother. She tells her mother that Wren is innocent, and Nicolette gets angry. As they stand together arguing, they hear something in Wren's room. They open the door to find Zack rummaging through Wren's things.

Nicolette confronts Zack, and Aimee says Zack lied to the Omegrion about Wren. Nicolette asks him if it's true, and he doesn't answer. As he has made a habit of lying his whole life, it is easy for him to mask his scent. Nicolette could not...
