Chapter 11 Summary
They are back in the 1980's in Wren's father's room. Wren recognizes the things around the room and tells Maggie there is a lot he doesn't remember. They hear voices in the hallway. Wren whisks Maggie away to hide in the closet. He wishes there was time to hide somewhere else, but there's no time. Wren's father and mother enter the room and are arguing loudly. Aristotle and Karina were arguing, because Karina is brought back from Asia by Aristotle to discuss their son, Wren. Aristotle confronts Karina about her messing around with other men while he sits home and raises their son. Karina tells him that their son is a retard, and she wants no part of him.
