The Elessar Summary
This tale is the final mention of Galadriel and Celeborn in Tolkien's unpublished writings. The story of "The Elessar," is still in a first draft form with only a few marginal notes made to it. There are no other versions to be found.
In Gondolin, there lived a well-known jewel smith named Enerdhil. He had a great love for all things green in the world, and loved nothing more than to watch the sun as it sparkled through the trees. This great love of his compelled him to make a stone, a stone that captured both the light of the sun and the lovely green of the trees.
