Dwellers vs Savages

Dwellers are the name given to those who live within the Pods in "Under The Never Sky". In this version of Earth, the sky has scorched the Earth with such ferocity that many of the world's inhabitants took to living within self contained Pods. As generations pass, and still more generations are born within the Pods, there are fewer who remember the reality of open air. People who lived within the Pods bored easily however, not able to go outside and unable to entertain themselves in the usual fashion, they created virtual worlds for their amusement, duplicating the real world cities and locations past and present as closely as possible. Of course there were mistakes made. Many of the representations of virtual worlds created did not even come close to the real thing despite great efforts in that regard.
