Chapters Forty Three - Forty Five Summary

Aria wakes in a small chamber without her Smarteye, unafraid. A screen opens to reveal Consul Hess. He tells her that with the increasing Aether storms, and encroaching DLS, Bliss will not be the only Pod to fail. Their only hope is to find the Still Blue. More specifically, they want her to find the Still Blue for them. To convince her cooperation, Hess shows her video footage of Talon and Perry. The last thing Hess tells her is that her mother did leave them with the answer - it was Aria. That night, in her own clothes again, she leaves Bliss in a Dragonwing with six Guardian escorts, and tells them where in the Death Shop to take her.
