Chapters Nineteen - Twenty One Summary

Aria is unable to sleep. Suddenly Perry stands and yells 'Roar', and a whistle breaks the silence. He races down the hillside and she struggles to keep up. At the bottom he embraces Roar with enthusiasm. Perry is unaware that Liv is missing and after constructing a screen together, Roar brings Perry up to date. Perry tells Roar where he is going and why. Aria hears noise and Roar tells her it is only Cinder - a young man who has been trailing him for some time. Cinder joins them but when he discovers that Perry is a Scire, he scuttles off into the bush fearfully. Aria questions what a Scire is, and soon joins Cinder. Roar offers to mediate and Perry walks away. Roar explains, telling her about their history together and about Liv...
