Chapters Ten - Twelve Summary

Perry takes Talon to the ocean, letting Wylan get ahead and when Wylan gets bored and walks off, Perry pulls out the apple for Talon who eats half and shares with Perry. Wylan warns of the arrival of Dwellers. Perry thrusts Talon at him and sends him back to camp. Perry takes a small piece of copper wire and wraps it around the shaft of one of his arrows. He aims high and the arrow seems to gather the Aether before it hits the Hover craft, taking it out. The second Hover lands and six men get out. Perry gets one but a shot from a Dweller hits him and he stumbles, unable to right himself. The Dweller asks for the Smarteye, and Perry insists he'll give it to them if they'll leave the others alone. One...
