Summary
Chapter 9
Emily runs her own business out of Twist’s building. She buys old items that she knows are valuable, and then sells them to antique shops. Emily gives Shay a quick makeover, getting her clothing that’s more appropriate for Hollywood, and giving her a chance to shower. The two of them drive down to a local sporting goods store. Shay identifies one of the clerks as a fellow climber, and she manages to negotiate a great deal on the equipment. When they leave, Emily comments how skilled Shay is at working people, which makes Shay feel a little guilty.
Chapter 10
Shay and Emily return to Twist’s building. Twist is there and invites her into his private room, something that nobody else has ever seen. Twist has Shay demonstrate her climbing skills, going from his room to the ground floor. She...
