Summary

Chapter 5

Shay leaves the area quickly, shortly after Twist and his men leave. She sets up a camp on the outskirts of Hollywood and thinks back to what brought her there in the first place.

(flashback)

She had been staying at a foster home when she received a message from her brother, Odin. Odin vaguely said that he had to leave the foster home and he wasn’t going to be able to come back. She had found out about his involvement at the animal testing facility. After Odin's raid on the facility, she was questioned by two people claiming to be with the police. They were named West and Cherry. She told them that she and her brother were not close.
