Summary

Chapter 25

The team come into the children’s home and Kennedy picks up a book lying around. The title is the Secret Garden, which she remembers her father reading to her. Dropping it, she focuses on the task at hand and takes the gear that’s handed to her. The team divides up and Kennedy is to go with Jared, alone. Lukas contests this, getting into a fight with Jared, which Kennedy breaks up. She has grown tired of hearing the fighting. They all radio in and then break into their groups to go look around. Jared and Kennedy start to search the first floor. They immediately encounter a small residual of a little girl in the hallway. Stepping around her Kennedy gets scared and grabs Jared’s hand as they head into the kitchen.
