Chapter 19

Priest is fighting for his life in the well as the other members are trying hard to figure out what to do. While they are doing this Millicent's ghost in the well tells them she won’t let them take anything else from her. In a split decision Kennedy grabs up a length of rope and goes down the well with only Jared pleading for her to be safe. He hands her an iron rod. Kennedy is grabbed by Priest as he comes out of the water and she takes a swing at Millicent, who smacks the iron from Kennedy's hand. Millicent drags Kennedy under and it’s Priest who ends up killing Millicent with an iron bolt from Lukas’s crossbow that Priest had smuggled down with him.
