Summary

Chapter 10

After introductions Alara puts everyone to work in hopes of locating the Marrow, Andras’s base of power. Kennedy studies the map Lukas has as he explains all of the places Andras had checked while looking for her. When Kennedy asks how they could do that with school, it’s apparent that none of them really cared all that much for school. It’s then that they explain that they need to find the Marrow to destroy it once and for all. With the new information Kennedy asks if she can make a call. After some protesting from Alara, Kennedy returns to make a call to Elle. In a moment of weakness she ends up telling her friend about almost everything; the ghosts, the murder, and that she’s traveling with some people.
