Summary
Chapter 60
Deeba wants to leave UnLondon, and when the Speaker has his utterlings restrain her, she tells them that words don’t have to do what their speaker alone wants: They can do other things too. With the words in rebellion, she is free to go. She takes Diss, Bling, and Cauldron with her.
Chapter 61
The book leads Deeba and Hemi to the forest-house, and on the way there, they engage the help of Yorick Cavea, a bird who lives in a birdcage that lives where a man’s head might be on his body. Sometimes Cavea flies free, sometimes he stays in the cage, and the man walks around. Cavea agrees to come with them.
Chapter 62
