Summary

Chapter 31

Almost as soon as she is home, Deeba starts to worry about her friends in UnLondon. She follows Brokkenbroll’s instructions to the letter, and at 6 AM she plugs in some equipment. As Zanna begins to shake, a tentacle of Smog clamps onto Zanna’s face, and she exhales a large cloud of dirty smoke. Deeba pursues this cloud with the fan, dispersing it and forcing it out the window. When Zanna wakes up she does not recall anything of UnLondon, but her mother comes in to ask about the noise and Deeba says that she is just happy to be home.

Chapter 32

Deeba takes Zanna home and leaves her with her parents. She looks up the word phlegm and finds that her parents were being ‘phlegmatic’ by not being upset about her absence. Deeba reads the text on the glove made...
