Summary
In Chapter 23, narrated by Tate in the present, three weeks later, Miles glares at Tate when he sees her letting her study partner, Chad, into her apartment.
After Chad leaves, Miles demands to know who Chad was and why he was there. Tate yells at him that he does not have a right to ask what she is doing or who she is doing it with. Miles tells Tate he does not know how to stop wanting her. They have sex in Tate’s bedroom. When Miles opens the door to leave, Corbin is standing there.
