Summary

Tyrell picks Novisha up from school after she called him to talk. She lives in the Bronxwood Houses, where Tyrell used to live. Her parents are home, and her mother is always sending Tyrell home with food. Her parents are not in a formal relationship anymore. They go into Novisha’s room and fool around. Tyrell gets upset when Novisha tells him there is a new boy at her school who repeatedly asks her out. She refuses to tell Tyrell where the boy lives because she does not want him to fight and end up in jail like his dad.
