Chapter 15 Summary

Rex and Stephanie move back to her apartment. Kenny is locked up. Morelli joins Stephanie at her apartment, filling her in on the details of Kenny's capture. It turns out, Moogey, Kenny and Spiro all had keys to the storage locker. Sandeman overheard Kenny's plot to steal the guns and made a copy of the key. Sandeman then killed Moogey to protect his own plot.

In the chaos at the funeral home, Spiro escaped, and they assume he has gone underground. Morelli points out that a wire in Stephanie's purse would have been helpful in her predicament the previous night at the funeral home. Though they end the novel flirting, Stephanie kicks Morelli out and enjoys her apartment alone. She thinks about using the apprehension money to buy a new fridge, replacing the once the foot was found in.
