Summary

Chapter 23 is told from Malcolm’s perspective on October 3rd. Malcolm gets home from school and wants to join Peter and his family on the search for Brooke, but Peter tells him he will be a distraction and he should stay home. Inside, Katrin and Viv confront him about having a secret relationship with Brooke again, and again he denies it. Mia texts him an article that talks about him and his brother and their connections to Lacey and Brooke.

Chapter 24 is also told from Malcolm’s perspective on October 3rd. He goes over to Mia’s house and finds her and Ellery confronting Daisy. Mia tells her sister that she will tell their parents if she does not explain her relationship with Declan to them all.
