Chapters 64 - 69 Summary

In Chapter 64, Tyler awakens and feels his life is not worth living. He thinks through the many times he has contemplated suicide and always felt life wasn't bad enough, but now he thinks it is. The question is how. He thinks about different options and then decides he knows.

In Chapter 65, he goes to the high school's roof and it is a Friday evening. He is contemplating which side to jump off, as he doesn't want the wrong person to find him. He starts thinking of other ways to kill himself. Janitor Joe shows up and they talk, he says that he thinks Tyler runs away when things get tough. He tells him that he should pick somewhere warmer, but then says to stop whining about his dad and live his own life.
