Chapters 1 - 7 Summary
A young man, Tyler, dealing with coming into his own while plagued with bad luck, a dysfunctional family, being unpopular, and a huge crush on a beauty. Twisted tells the story of a semi-suicidal teenager entering his senior year of high school. The story, narrated by Tyler gives an intense look into what it is really like to be a teenage boy today.
Chapter 1 introduces the reader to the narrator as he finishes up his community service requirement by spreading tar on the roof of the high school. He committed the "Foul Deed," which included spray painting graffiti on the high school with insults toward the principal, Mr. Hughes.
