An Impasse Summary

Bella is strapped in a hospital bed and she is in terrible pain. Edward tells her she has fallen two flights of stairs and through a window. She has a broken leg, four broken ribs, a cracked skull, bruises, and blood loss. Edward tells about sucking out the venom and tells Bella she tastes even better than she smells, that it was a terrible test for him. Edward has given the cover story to Bella's parents, that he has convinced Bella to return to Forks. When Edward kisses Bella, the heart monitor beeps fast. Bella's mother comes to see Bella, and is so relieved to find her alive and well enough.
