Chapters 23-24 Summary

Stephanie goes to her parents' house, has a bite to eat, and then takes a long nap. Later, one of Ranger's men brings Stephanie her car and her cell phone which was left in the parking lot Scrog instructed her to drive to. Stephanie then calls Morelli and then Ranger, telling them both everything that happened the night before, about Scrog's plan to go to Mexico, and his need to kill Ranger. Then Stephanie tells both to move out of her apartment so she can go back to life as normal. Stephanie returns to her apartment and is stun gunned upon walking in. Scrog has come to her apartment in hopes of using her as bait to get Ranger there.

Stephanie wakes tied to a chair. Julie is there too, sleeping off the effects of a drug Scrog gave her. Stephanie...
