Chapters 4-5 Summary

Stephanie goes home to make phone calls on her other skips. While working, Stephanie gets a phone call from her grandmother. One of the funeral parlors in town has new owners and they are having their first showing that night. Grandma Mazur wants to go and wants Stephanie to take her. Stephanie leaves to pick Grandma up and finds Carmen waiting for her in the parking lot. Stephanie kindly tells Carmen where she is going before driving off to pick up Grandma. At the funeral parlor, Stephanie meets the new owners, a nice gay couple, and welcomes them to town. While talking with them, Stephanie learns about a kidnapping in Florida and that the authorities think the kidnapper might come to Jersey.
