Vi Reyes

Vi, short for Viola, is the female protagonist of the novel, and along with Jack, is one of the most dynamic characters in the novel, changing quite significantly from the beginning to the end of the book. At the beginning of the novel, Vi is a very angry person. She sees more than other people see in everyday interactions, and this insightfulness causes her anger more than anything else. This is because she sees injustice that other people overlook. For example, she understands how women are treated in the gaming world more than her friend Antonia does.
