Summary

In Chapter 8 “Do Not Drop Your Weapon,” Cesario reminds Jack on the game that other people want what they have. Jack thinks about how he is used to this because of his popularity and his girlfriend. He types back, “I’m kind of a big deal? I’m used to it” (123). Vi tells him that there are other things besides football that he could do with his life and that he should consider his plans for next year should football not work out for him.
