Support from Friend
A friend can fill one or more roles in an individual's life. Through the characters of June and Ziggy, the importance of having a friend as a supporter and confidante are explored. June and Ziggy meet when Ziggy moves into June's neighborhood on Trowbridge Road to live with his grandmother, Nana Jean. They forge an immediate bond because they understand each other on a deep level, and they are each in a position to fill roles that no one else can at a time when they need it most.
