Summary
A voice is coming from the statue on the throne and talking to Tristan in his head. As Tristan stares at the statue, trying to comprehend what is happening, dust and sand blow off it to reveal the sky god, Name. What Tristan thought was a stone statue is in actuality the famous divinity. Ayanna points out Nyame's bracelets and anklets--they are made of iron and connected to fetterlings. The iron monsters are behind the throne and unanimated, and camouflaged to look like part of the statues. Somehow, these creatures are holding back the sky god and draining his powers, keeping him paralyzed on the throne. They also notice brand flies by his head, which are poisoning him. Their poison is apparently keeping him paralyzed. They realize that he couldn't do anything when the iron monsters came and took his people away. All...
