Cody Summary

Cody has moved to Las Vegas from Wichita. He gets along well with his stepfather, Jack, and his mother. His mother is very forgiving of Cody because his father is not around, and does her best to be a responsible parent. Cody is nevertheless a stoner who withholds much information about what he does from his mother.

He works at GameStop. There, Veronica "Ronnie" Carino, the best friend of his former girlfriend Alyssa, comes in. She asks him out to an underage club, Frozen75. At home before leaving, Jack reports that he has been having stomach pains. Cody's mother is clearly worried.

Cody then heads out to pick up Ronnie, bringing along weed to smoke. Ronnie tells Cody she's been in love with him for a long time.
