Summary
In Chapter 22, Lacoste and other agents were at La Presse searching to discover about whom Lillian’s bodily function review had been written. They finally located it on the microfiche, titled “A Deeply Moving Exhibit.” Although the review was almost humorous with its play on words, Lacoste did not laugh because she knew it ended with Lillian’s murder.
In Chapter 23, Peter sat in Clara’s studio. He had a Bible with him so that God would know he was seriously in search of Him. He realized he had mistaken the creation for the creator for too long. Peter found his namesake in the Bible and saw that Jesus had called Peter a rock. At one point, however, He had also accused Peter of having little faith.
