Chapters 10-13 Summary
Williams decides to contact Alan Tompkins, a friend at Scotland Yard, once he arrives in London. Williams is worried that the current phone situation might comprise safety and it is important to have privacy when speaking about Burton's murder. Williams finally gets in touch with Tompkins and explains the possible homicide of Burton. Tompkins asks Williams to come to Scotland Yard to discuss the matter.
Steele calls Bruce Barnes, the visitation pastor at New Hope Village Church and asks to hear the tape left by the pastor.
Tompkins meets Williams at Scotland Yard and the pair goes to a pub where there is more privacy. Tompkins warns Williams that there is something big brewing and that Williams needs to stay away.
