Summary

Change – “From the moment Robin and I moved to Los Angeles,” the author writes, “we knew we would leave” (244). She describes the arrangements she made with Christina to stay in touch, including regular phone calls and visits, then describes a final meal they had in a park, where their relationship was witnessed by a trio of foxes. Their presence, she says, seemed to both acknowledge and echo the relationship between her, Robin, and Christina.
