Summary

In Chapter 22, “Tracy Flick,” anxious about her interview with Buzz, Tracy “called Kyle at home” (163). He assured her everything was fine and put Marissa on the phone. Tracy lied that she was busy when Marissa asked her to hang out.

In Chapter 23, Vito fell in love with Paige the first time he saw her at AA. Though his sponsor advised against the relationship, Vito thought Paige was good for him. She agreed to accompany him to Green Meadow for the Induction Ceremony.

In Chapter 24, “Kyle Dorfman,” Kyle lied when he “told Tracy she was a shoo-in for the Principal job” (171). He knew the Board wanted to find someone better. When her “only competition” dropped out, Kyle thought the job was hers until Buzz called requesting a private meeting (172).
