Summary

In Chapter 15, “Jack Weede,” Jack took the RV “for a spin” whenever he “couldn’t . . . sleep” (105). While driving one morning, he impulsively stopped by Diane’s apartment. He raced away when a student recognized him. Sometimes he was unsure why their affair had happened, though he had loved Diane and regretted breaking her heart. A police light interrupted his thoughts. Glenn Keeler, a former GMHS student, was the officer. Glenn thought it would be funny to pull over a former teacher.
