Chapter 20 Summary

Viceroy, Bernal, and Tigertail are in a warehouse building something out of wood when Bernal calls the First Weekend in July Movement to ask to be taken back by them. The commander refuses, and tells Bernal that he is still the worst bomber he has ever seen, and if he wants to be considered for a return to the cause, he must do something important. Tigertail is despondent that the police have shot and killed Pavlov.

Chapter 20 Analysis

Chapter twenty-one brings the news that Pavlov is dead, Bernal wants to return to his old group of terrorists, and that the men are building something out of wood in a warehouse.
