Chapter 9 Summary
Brian Keyes goes to Jenna's house for dinner, and has a difficult time being in the house with the woman with whom he used to live. It has changed, there is a coffin in the living room, and there are bullet holes in the wall. Evidently Wiley had shot at the wall during a television show about the governor's report on how many people relocate to Miami every day.
Jenna becomes slightly drunk on wine, and extremely seductive. Before she tells Keyes goodnight and goes off to bed, she tells him that he should begin looking for Wiley at the Otter Creek Village, three miles off State Road 84. It is a new development Wiley is very distraught about as he grew up near there when it was a wilderness.
