"Touch" by Jus Accardo is an action-packed story of a group of individuals with special powers and the man trying to control them all. Deznee Cross is oblivious to her father's plan to control all Sixes or people with powers until Kale appears in her life and circumstances thrust Deznee into a world of danger. She must struggle to defeat her father and his company in order to save herself and those she loves.

"Touch" is the story of Sixes or people with extraordinary abilities such as the ability to mimic objects, control elements, read minds, and tell the future. Deznee Cross is a Six, although she has never told anyone as she is unaware that there are others in the world. Having lost her mother at a young age and having a father who works constantly, Dez thrives on trouble and spends much of her time trying to make her father angry. One evening after a party, a young man falls literally at her feet by a river. From the beginning, Dez realizes Kale is different and when she discovers that there are men chasing him, his story slowly unfolds. Dez learns her own father is in charge of Denazen Corporation, a company who captures and uses Sixes to hurt, control, or kill their enemies. She also learns her mother, Sueshanna, is alive, and being held by Denazen, as she too has powers like Dez. Both can mimic objects, but Dez's is a far more powerful gift. Kale was taken as a young child, and used to kill people, as his power is that his touch kills anything he comes into contact with. He is able to touch Dez, however, and the two quickly begin to fall for one another, despite their dangerous situation.

When Dez learns of her mother, she and Kale are determined to free her and the other Sixes. With the help of Ginger, an older Six who helps others free themselves, and others, Dez manages to infiltrate the Denazen Corporation, only to find out her father manipulated her as he wants to use her for his benefit. She also learns of a project called Supremacy, where Cross and his men injected pregnant Sixes with a chemical to increase the fetuses powers. Dez was one of them, but Cross informs her many of the subjects become uncontrollable by eighteen. Although Dez does manage to save her mother and Kale, Cross escapes and she knows it is only a matter of time before he surfaces again. She travels with Kale around the country to inform other Sixes of the Denazen threat and Dez realizes that her powers are increasing.
