Chapters 54-56 Summary
Sawyer is pulling an "all-nighter" in the conference room, attempting to make sense of the myriad of pieces of information he has accumulated. He telephones the in-house technological expert, Liz Martin, asking about computer back-up tapes. When he inquires about the lengthy numeric pass code Sidney had given him, Liz explains that the pass code is much larger than necessary. Confused, Sawyer returns to a study of the pass code and discovers that they comprise all of the dates that Lieberman changed the fed rates. Now, he has the link. As he reviews the videotape from the Seattle warehouse, he notices something strange on the neck of one of the participants.
