Chapters 38-46 Summary
Sawyer is in his office, mulling over the information gained thus far, is at a dead end, and believes that if their current suspicions of Jason is leaked to the press, perhaps Sidney will be pressured into being more forthcoming with him. Sidney, however, is having problems of her own, as Goldman has convinced Wharton to terminate her for the good of the firm. When she sees the leaked newspaper article, Sidney experiences a new emotion - anger. She storms into Nathan Gamble's office, only to be shown the videotape of her husband handing over a briefcase in one of RTG's facilities. She returns home, reads the remainder of the front page, and learns that Edward Page, the stranger on the plane, has been murdered. She realizes, now, how much danger she faces, and responds by arming herself and preparing to...
