Chapters 19-29 Summary
Chapter 19 opens with Sidney at her office, talking with Jason's secretary by telephone. Kay relates her concerns about Jason's recent behavior, including a computerized lock system installation on his door. Sidney realizes that she has a card key to that system. At the end of the conversation, Sidney notices a shadow passing by her door. She jerks open the door, finding Philip Goldman, another Tyler Stone attorney. After a few curt words, Sidney leaves, and Goldman enters her office, using a key of his own. Sidney proceeds to Triton, and the night guard, who knows her, allows her into Jason's office area, under the guise of retrieving some of his personal belongings at his secretary's desk. She enters Jason's office but is unable to find anything of import and is almost discovered by Quentin Rowe.
