Summary
In Tampa, Mrs. Kooshof states her intent to divorce from her husband and fight for her relationship with Thomas. He has her leave voicemails for Lorna Sue and Herbie, luring them to a hotel to meet each other. Mrs. Kooshof asks Herbie why he is plotting and Herbie says he wants to hurt them. Mrs. Kooshof packs her bags and leaves. Thomas watches from the mezzanine where he sees Herbie and Lorna Sue meeting each other for dinner, confused thinking that each other had left the voicemail. Lorna Sue’s husband, the tycoon, enters and he and Lorna Sue are embroiled. Thomas tips the bellhop twenty dollars to tell Herbie and Lorna Sue the reservation for their room is ready.
