Alaska

Alaska is the main setting of the and where Allen, Tillman, and Pruitt's storyline both begins and ends. The only time Allen is mentioned outside of Alaska is in Sophie's diaries. It is a vast and unexplored region filled with dozens of tribes. Thanks to the tribe's beliefs, Alaska has many fables that survive long past Allen's expedition. In Josh's time, Alaska's natural resources, such as silver and gold, have been extracted, and the trains that helped miners reach the wilderness are derailed and succumbing to nature. Despite the colonization of the area, Alaska is still a wilderness, where visitors can explore nature and see the same sights that Allen did in 1885.
