Summary

In Chapter VI, Into the Dark, the Jellies swung into action and ripped every nightmare in sight. The leader of the Jelly ship, Wrnakkr, instructed that Itari, another Jelly, to guard the humans and keep them safe. Itari led the group through the ship and toward the airlock to wait for the Wallfish, but a nightmare ship rammed into the vessel and blocked off the hallway, separating Kira and Trig from the rest of the crew. Kira tried to find a way around but is ambushed before escaping. She takes out three nightmares with the Soft Blade, but the last humanoid nightmare wrapped Kira in a tentacle and her vision flared white, and another vision took over Kira's consciousness. It recounted the events on the Extenuating Circumstances from a different perspective. She then realized that the nightmares...
